Nope, I'm not talking about Samson... Did you know that Samuel also didn't cut his hair? His mother promised that he would be a Nazarite, thus never cutting his hair.

When Ruth returned back home she asked her friends to stop calling her Naomi, becuase the name means pleasant one. Ruth was no longer happy so she asked them to call her Mara, which means bitter one.

Did you know the Bible tells us of many scientific facts that were only discovered within the last 100 years or so?
For example, the Bibl solves the chicken and egg dilemma. For years, philosophers and scientists and many others did not know which came first... the chicken or the egg. It was written in the Bible all along! It tells us in Genesis 1:20-22 that God created birds with the ability to reproduce after their own kind.

There is only one mention of a left-handed person in the Bible. His name was Ehud. He is written about in the book of Judges.
